Memorial Day Parade

Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 10 a.m. | Main Street, Warrenton

Celebrate Memorial Day by remembering and honoring fallen service men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the country and freedom at the Memorial Day parade. Watch a festive lineup of local and state law enforcement color guards, representatives from the Marine Corps and the Army National Guard, the Warrenton Fire Department, military and antique vehicles, and proud veterans. High School bands from Fauquier High, Liberty High and Kettle Run High, as well as the Warrenton Chorale will be supplying plenty of patriotic music. The parade will proceed down Main Street and continue down Waterloo Street to a left on South Chestnut Street, arriving at Warrenton Cemetery for a Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m.

65th Hunt Country Stable Tour

Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Self-driving tour of Virginia’s Hunt Country

Get ready to trot along on a journey through the historic equestrian landscape filled with elegant horses, rural charm and the timeless beauty of Virginia’s hunt country. Whether you're a seasoned rider, a horse enthusiast or simply captivated by the grace of the animals, this event promises something for everyone. More than a dozen private properties open their gates to the public to provide a rare look at equine life in Virginia horse country, and experience a variety of horses and equestrian activities. Proceeds benefit outreach programs of Trinity Episcopal Church, which provide financial support to organizations that enhance and enrich the lives of people in need. Second Annual Car Show for Area 27 Special Olympics
